03 November 2023 - AlMega Caravan Park, Dinokeng - Day 1
We had planned and booked a family camping weekend at the fabulous AlMega a few months ago. Not all the extended family could join, so it was just the 3 of us with my son following us in his Jimny with rooftop tent.
It is a short drive from Midrand and once through the gate on the main tar road we came across a roadblock - no, not the police but a Cheetah family that had made a kill just off the road which we couldn't see. The adults had already moved off, but there were at least 4-5 youngsters part of this pride and we enjoyed some good views until they all moved off, following the adults/parents - what a great start to our weekend!
