26 January 2023 - Near Inanda Country Base
Like last week, after dropping the dogs at 'school', I decided to quickly explore an open patch of grassland near Inanda Country Place which still falls within my home Pentad.
It was quite lively and I spent a bit of time with an obliging family of Zitting Cisticola's

As it started warming up, some aerial species passed by overhead; European Bee-eater with prey in its beak, after which it is named

and Yellow-billed Kite

I walked to some scrub in the grassland, finding Black-chested Prinia

And a pair of African Stonechat's

There were a few invertebrates around, but I was only able to photograph this Yellow, before heading back to my home office
