02 May 2021 - Leadwood Big Game Estate; Day 4
As this was our last day, Simon and I had a short early morning drive to try and find the Lion's. No luck again, but we did encounter the newly introduced Ostrich

As well as both roosting White-backed
White-backed Vulture (Gyps africanus) |
and Cape Vulture
Cape Vulture (Gyps coprotheres) |
At the main dam, a Nile Crocodile slowly came out the water to warm up in the sun

Whilst in the dead tree, two Pied Crows (a new species for the Estate) surveyed us with their shiny beady eyes

It was then back to the house for a late breakfast and to pack the car, before having to say our cheerio's after another laughter filled few days and head back to Jozi
